The Arai Astro-Light has been specifically designed and manufactured for smaller ladies and children. The smaller shell offers better proportions between the rider and the helmet, which means it does not sit too close to the shoulders of the wearer as is often the case with standard helmets developed for adult males. The Astro-Light range features a lighter complex laminate shell, helmet vents to suit the smaller shell and the interior is fully removable using the Dry Cool interior fabric for added comfort. The chin strap fastening has also been re-located to fit a child’s neck and jaw line.
